In the next 7 days Citi Field has New York City FC vs. Los Angeles FC on Saturday, October 17.

That depends on the venue, and the hotels page for Citi Field says which. Every property is listed with its distance from the venue and a plain label, walkable or a long walk or a drive, so you know before you book rather than on the night. A downtown arena usually has several within a few blocks; a stadium off a ring road often has none.

As soon as the tickets are settled. Hotels price against the same demand the tickets do, so rooms near Citi Field are the first to go on an event night and what is left tends to cost more the closer the date gets. Rates on our hotel pages are live for the nights you choose, and each room is labelled free to cancel, non-refundable, or terms shown at checkout, so you can pick one that leaves the date open.
