Car Rentals for Event Trips
If the venue is a drive from the airport, or the trip takes in more than one place, a rental car is often the simplest way to do it. Pick a city below for the airports that serve it, how far its main venues are from each one, and the stadium parking we sell. When you are ready to book, Expedia compares the rental companies at the airport you choose.
How we earn: StubOrder may earn a commission when you book through the Expedia links on this page. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes which events, venues or places we show you.

Renting a car for an event
- Pick up where you land. Airport rental counters keep the longest hours, which matters when a flight comes in late.
- Sort the parking before the day. Stadium lots fill up for big games. A parking pass bought ahead is one less thing to deal with on the way in.
- Allow time to get out. Leaving a stadium lot after the final whistle can take as long as the drive itself.
- Match the return to your flight home. An evening event and an early flight the next morning can mean keeping the car one more day.
- Your tickets are separate. A rental booked on Expedia has its own terms and is not tied to your event tickets.

Frequently asked questions
Which cities have their own page?
The 20 cities with the most events on StubOrder: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Nashville, San Francisco, Buffalo, Albany, Washington, DC, Phoenix, Seattle, Denver, Detroit, and Orlando.
Do I need a car for a game or a concert?
It depends on the venue. A downtown arena in a city with good transit rarely needs one; a stadium out in the suburbs, a late flight or a trip that takes in more than one town usually does. Each city page lists how far the main venues are from the airports.
Can I rent a car on StubOrder?
Not directly. StubOrder sells event tickets and books hotels and flights. Car rentals are booked on Expedia through the links on these pages, and StubOrder may earn a commission when you do. The rental is always a separate booking from your tickets.
Can I buy stadium parking on StubOrder?
Yes, for many stadiums. Parking passes are listed like tickets, game by game, and the city pages link the ones in that city. The stadium parking page lists all of them.
