Airport area (Cheektowaga)
Clustered around Genesee Street near Buffalo Niagara International Airport, about 16 miles from the stadium. Useful on a tight fly-in, fly-out trip, and usually the cheapest of the three, but it is the wrong side of the city from Orchard Park and you will drive through or around Buffalo to reach the game.

Downtown Buffalo, without question. It is the only one of these areas where you can eat, drink and get to a Metro Rail stop on foot, and the only one with an organised game-day bus to the stadium. Hamburg, Blasdell and the airport strip are all built around driving.

Getting to Highmark Stadium
Parking
The stadium sells parking in its own lots, and numerous private lots and front yards along Abbott Road and Southwestern Boulevard sell spaces on game day, usually for cash. Lots open several hours before kickoff for tailgating, and traffic on Abbott Road and Route 20 backs up badly both before kickoff and after the final whistle.
Public transportation
There is no train or subway to the stadium. Buffalo's NFTA Metro Rail runs only along Main Street in the city and does not come anywhere near Orchard Park. On game days the NFTA operates dedicated bus service to the stadium from downtown and from park-and-ride lots; check the NFTA schedule for the specific game.
Uber, Lyft and taxis
Uber and Lyft both operate, and the stadium designates a rideshare pickup area. Expect heavy surge pricing and a long wait immediately after the game -- a ride back downtown after a sellout can cost several times the fare out.
Restaurants nearby
Orchard Park village and the Route 20 corridor have a handful of pubs and pizzerias that fill up early on game day. For Buffalo's better-known food you want the city: the Elmwood Village, Allentown and the Hertel Avenue strip all have far more choice, and the two famous wing institutions, Anchor Bar and Duff's, are both in Buffalo proper.
Things to do nearby
