Vacation Packages for Event Trips
A vacation package books the flight and the hotel together, which keeps the trip in one booking and can cost less than buying the two apart. For an event trip the order matters: buy the tickets first, then build the trip around the date. Pick a city below for its upcoming events, the airports that serve it and where its venues are.
How we earn: StubOrder may earn a commission when you book through the Expedia links on this page. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes which events, venues or places we show you.

Planning a package around an event
- Buy the tickets first. The event fixes the date; everything else moves around it.
- Arrive the day before an evening event, and fly home the morning after.
- Fly into the airport nearest the venue. Each city page shows which airport is closest to each of its busiest venues.
- Check where the package hotel is. A cheap package hotel across town can cost more in rides than it saved. Our hotel pages sort hotels by their real distance from each venue.

Frequently asked questions
When should I arrive for an evening event?
The day before, if you can. A delayed flight on the day of the event is the most common way an event trip goes wrong, and arriving a day early takes that risk away.
Which cities have their own page?
The 20 cities with the most events on StubOrder: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Nashville, San Francisco, Buffalo, Albany, Washington, DC, Phoenix, Seattle, Denver, Detroit, and Orlando.
Are event tickets included in a package?
No. A package covers travel only. Buy your event tickets on StubOrder first, then book the package for the dates around the event.
Can I book a vacation package on StubOrder?
Not as one booking. StubOrder books hotels and flights and sells event tickets. Flight and hotel packages are booked on Expedia through the links on these pages, and StubOrder may earn a commission when you do.
