Frequently asked questions
Is StubOrder affiliated with The New Vic?
No. StubOrder is an independent resale marketplace, based in Buffalo, New York, and selling tickets since 2006. It is not affiliated with The New Vic or its box office.
When should I book a hotel for an event at The New Vic?
As soon as the tickets are settled. Hotels price against the same demand the tickets do, so rooms near The New Vic are the first to go on an event night and what is left tends to cost more the closer the date gets. Rates on our hotel pages are live for the nights you choose, and each room is labelled free to cancel, non-refundable, or terms shown at checkout, so you can pick one that leaves the date open.
Are there hotels within walking distance of The New Vic?
That depends on the venue, and the hotels page for The New Vic says which. Every property is listed with its distance from the venue and a plain label, walkable or a long walk or a drive, so you know before you book rather than on the night. A downtown arena usually has several within a few blocks; a stadium off a ring road often has none.
What is the closest airport to The New Vic?
The closest airport to The New Vic is Santa Barbara Municipal Airport (SBA), a smaller airport with scheduled flights, 7.6 miles away in a straight line. StubOrder's Santa Barbara flights page lists the airports serving the city and which is nearest each venue, and searches live fares when you pick your dates; there are no standing prices.
