They can go either way. Of the 1,387 games we tracked into their final days (October 2 to October 17, 2026), the cheapest ticket was lower by the day of the event than three weeks before for 52%, higher for 27%, and about the same for the rest.

The nearest rooms are the hotels around PNC Park, and the link on this page opens that list already priced for Tuesday, May 25. They are ordered by real distance from the venue, and every card shows that distance, so you can weigh walking back afterwards against a cheaper room you would have to drive to.

If this game is permanently canceled, your order is refunded in full under StubOrder's 100% Buyer Guarantee, including the booking fee; only a delivery fee, which few listings carry, is not refunded, and shipped hard-stock tickets may need to be returned first. If it is postponed or rescheduled, your tickets are normally honored for the new date.

The hotels page for PNC Park answers that property by property: every card is labelled walkable, a long walk, or drive or ride, against its real distance from the doors. Worth checking rather than assuming before Tuesday, May 25: a downtown arena usually has several hotels within a few blocks, while a stadium off a ring road can have nothing within walking distance at all, and leaving on foot afterwards is usually quicker than queuing for a car or a ride.

Each listing sets the quantities the seller allows, and the quantity menu offers only those options. Open a listing above to see its available quantities.

Most orders are delivered within a few hours of purchase. Delivery method varies by listing: most listings deliver electronically, by mobile transfer or instant download, and some are shipped as hard stock. Mailed tickets, and mobile tickets that a team or venue releases only closer to the date, take longer: the seller sends them as soon as they can, and they arrive before the event under the 100% Buyer Guarantee. The delivery type is shown on each listing before you buy, and a small number of listings add a delivery charge.

The T light rail is free between the downtown stations and North Side (North Shore) Station, diagonally across General Robinson Street from the Home Plate entrance; Allegheny Station is also in the free zone. Rideshare pick-up is eastbound on Reedsdale Street near the Gold 1 Garage and westbound on Isabella Street. Checked against official sources in October 2026.

No hidden fees. The price on every listing already includes the booking fee, and each listing's details show the split (for example, ticket $311.00 plus fee $62.20 is $373.20). Only sales tax and, on a small number of listings, a delivery charge are added at checkout, and your full total is shown before you pay.
