They can go either way. Of the 1,387 games we tracked into their final days (October 2 to October 17, 2026), the cheapest ticket was lower by the day of the event than three weeks before for 52%, higher for 27%, and about the same for the rest. This game's cheapest ticket has stayed within a few percent over the 51 days we have tracked it. To catch a drop, set the free price alert on this page and we will email you if it gets cheaper.

The hotels page for PNC Park answers that property by property: every card is labelled walkable, a long walk, or drive or ride, against its real distance from the doors. Worth checking rather than assuming before Friday, September 17: a downtown arena usually has several hotels within a few blocks, while a stadium off a ring road can have nothing within walking distance at all, and leaving on foot afterwards is usually quicker than queuing for a car or a ride.

As soon as the tickets are settled. Rooms near PNC Park are among the first to go for Friday, September 17, and what is left tends to cost more the closer it gets. The Hotels near PNC Park link on this page opens already set to that night. Each room is labelled free to cancel, non-refundable, or terms shown at checkout, so you can pick a rate you are able to cancel if the plan changes.

The T light rail is free between the downtown stations and North Side (North Shore) Station, diagonally across General Robinson Street from the Home Plate entrance; Allegheny Station is also in the free zone. Rideshare pick-up is eastbound on Reedsdale Street near the Gold 1 Garage and westbound on Isabella Street. Checked against official sources in October 2026.

Most orders are delivered within a few hours of purchase. Delivery method varies by listing: most listings deliver electronically, by mobile transfer or instant download, and some are shipped as hard stock. Mailed tickets, and mobile tickets that a team or venue releases only closer to the date, take longer: the seller sends them as soon as they can, and they arrive before the event under the 100% Buyer Guarantee. The delivery type is shown on each listing before you buy, and a small number of listings add a delivery charge.

They are ordered by real distance from the venue, and every card shows that distance, so you can weigh walking back afterwards against a cheaper room you would have to drive to.
