They can go either way. Of the 2,101 theater performances we tracked into their final days (October 3 to October 12, 2026), the cheapest ticket was lower by the day of the event than three weeks before for 13%, higher for 64%, and about the same for the rest. This performance's cheapest ticket has stayed within a few percent over the 47 days we have tracked it. To catch a drop, set the free price alert on this page and we will email you if it gets cheaper.

The hotels page for CIBC Theatre answers that property by property: every card is labelled walkable, a long walk, or drive or ride, against its real distance from the doors. Worth checking rather than assuming before Sunday, January 31: a downtown arena usually has several hotels within a few blocks, while a stadium off a ring road can have nothing within walking distance at all, and leaving on foot afterwards is usually quicker than queuing for a car or a ride.
