The hotels page for Fargodome answers that property by property: every card is labelled walkable, a long walk, or drive or ride, against its real distance from the doors. Worth checking rather than assuming before Thursday, February 18: a downtown arena usually has several hotels within a few blocks, while a stadium off a ring road can have nothing within walking distance at all, and leaving on foot afterwards is usually quicker than queuing for a car or a ride.

They can go either way. Of the 3,122 games we tracked into their final days (October 2 to October 31, 2026), the cheapest ticket was lower by the day of the event than three weeks before for 53%, higher for 26%, and about the same for the rest.

The nearest rooms are the hotels around Fargodome, and the link on this page opens that list already priced for Thursday, February 18. They are ordered by real distance from the venue, and every card shows that distance, so you can weigh walking back afterwards against a cheaper room you would have to drive to.
