Only sales tax and, on a small number of listings, a delivery charge are added at checkout, and your full total is shown before you pay.

MetLife Stadium is in East Rutherford, so these are two different searches rather than one run twice. The thing to decide is what happens afterwards: a room at the venue gets you out of the car park sooner, and a room in New York puts you where somewhere is still open. Only the MetLife Stadium card carries your dates: it opens from here already priced for Saturday, August 7, while on the New York page you pick the nights yourself.

For large events, including NFL games, NJ Transit runs shuttle trains from Secaucus Junction to Meadowlands Station, steps from the stadium (about 10 minutes). Coach USA's 351 Meadowlands Express bus runs from the Port Authority Bus Terminal to Lot K. Rideshare pickup is in Lot E outside the Verizon Gate; drop-off is between Lots D and E. Checked against official sources in October 2026.

The nearest rooms are the hotels around MetLife Stadium, and the link on this page opens that list already priced for Saturday, August 7. They are ordered by real distance from the venue, and every card shows that distance, so you can weigh walking back afterwards against a cheaper room you would have to drive to.

The hotels page for MetLife Stadium answers that property by property: every card is labelled walkable, a long walk, or drive or ride, against its real distance from the doors. Worth checking rather than assuming before Saturday, August 7: a downtown arena usually has several hotels within a few blocks, while a stadium off a ring road can have nothing within walking distance at all, and leaving on foot afterwards is usually quicker than queuing for a car or a ride.

Mailed tickets, and mobile tickets that a team or venue releases only closer to the date, take longer: the seller sends them as soon as they can, and they arrive before the event under the 100% Buyer Guarantee.
