About Hostel Obispo (San Luis Obispo Hostel)
Hostel Obispo is a relaxed, home-style hostel a few short blocks from downtown San Luis Obispo on the California Coast. It offers both private and shared rooms: private rooms have one, two, or three beds of various sizes and are very popular, so booking far in advance is recommended, especially for weekend stays; shared rooms are dormitory-style with bunk beds sleeping up to 6 people per room, available in both co-ed and gender-specific configurations. There are also a variety of options for families with children. The hostel is known for its world-famous homemade sourdough pancakes served each morning from 8am–10am, 315 days of sunshine per year, and a location only 12 miles from the beach. Check-in is 4:30pm–10pm, 7 days per week, and the hostel is closed from 11am to 4:30pm so guests can explore the area.
