About Hotel San José
Hotel San José is a cool boutique hotel with 40 bungalow-style rooms, tucked behind stucco walls and surrounded by lush courtyards in the heart of Austin's South Congress. Originally built as a lively motor court in the 1930s, today it's a relaxed, design-forward retreat with a community spirit, a laid-back vibe and a serene pool—a hidden oasis that reflects the soul of South Congress. Reopened in 2000 with a modern, Texas minimalist vision, with reclaimed hardwood, saddle leather chairs, granite pathways and native landscaping, reflecting a voice proudly local and uniquely Texan.
