About Carpenter Hotel
Tucked beneath heritage pecan trees at the edge of Zilker Park, Carpenter Hotel is a boutique stay that captures Austin's laid-back, cool and hip charm. The hotel blends nature and neighborhood, with breezeways, terraces and a pool deck made for soaking up the fresh air. Grab coffee in the all-day Coffee Bar, linger over a meal at Carpenters Hall or wander down to Lady Bird Lake and downtown just a short walk away. Distinctive and effortlessly chic, the rooms each feature a private terrace, a plush king or queen bed, ample closets and a well-stocked minibar, with bathrooms lined in cerulean tile inspired by nearby Barton Springs. The property sits on the site of the former Carpenters Local 1266 Union Hall, built in 1948, with the original building serving as the heart and entrance.
