Mailed tickets, and mobile tickets that a team or venue releases only closer to the date, take longer: the seller sends them as soon as they can, and they arrive before the event under the 100% Buyer Guarantee. Dayton Dragons vs. Cedar Rapids Kernels takes place at Day Air Ballpark in Dayton, Ohio on Wednesday, May 12, 2027.

They can go either way. Of the 824 games we tracked into their final days (October 2 to October 13, 2026), the cheapest ticket was lower by the day of the event than three weeks before for 53%, higher for 25%, and about the same for the rest.

The hotels page for Day Air Ballpark answers that property by property: every card is labelled walkable, a long walk, or drive or ride, against its real distance from the doors. Worth checking rather than assuming before Wednesday, May 12: a downtown arena usually has several hotels within a few blocks, while a stadium off a ring road can have nothing within walking distance at all, and leaving on foot afterwards is usually quicker than queuing for a car or a ride.
