Yankee Stadium Accessible Seating

Where the accessible (ADA) and wheelchair seats are at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, New York, how to get them, and getting in. From Yankee Stadium's official accessibility information, checked September 30, 2026: official accessibility page.

Where the accessible seats are

Wheelchair-accessible seating and designated aisle-transfer seats are offered at various price points and locations. The stadium's list of wheelchair seating areas runs from Sections 021B and 029 through many sections on the Field (100), Main (200) and Terrace/Grandstand (300) Levels, plus Sections 203 and 235 to 237 in the Bleachers; these areas have electrical outlets for charging wheelchairs and scooters. Guests who transfer can have security store the wheelchair or scooter as close as possible to their seat, or leave it at a Guest Relations Booth. The official guide does not say how many companion seats come with each wheelchair space.

Getting accessible tickets

For wheelchair seat locations and prices, the stadium directs guests to the Yankees' Disabled Services office. During games, matches and public events, guests can also speak with Disabled Services in person at any open Guest Relations Booth or in the Yankee Stadium Lobby next to Gate 2. The official guide does not describe a relocation or exchange policy for tickets that are not in an accessible location.

Bought a resale ticket that is not in an accessible location? The Justice Department's ADA rules require a venue to exchange it for a comparable accessible seat if one is free when you present the ticket, so contact guest services early. See how accessible seating works.

Arriving and getting in

The Access-A-Ride bus stop is next to Gate 4 on East 161st Street; for drop-off and pick-up arrangements, contact Disabled Services. Ramps next to Gate 2 (left field) and Gate 6 (right field) serve wheelchair and scooter users. Two elevators in the Gate 2 lobby take guests with disabilities to the Main and Terrace/Grandstand Levels, and elevators at Gate 8 serve the Field Level and Bleachers. Courtesy wheelchair transfers between gate and seat are first come, first served when available; the stadium does not rent or loan wheelchairs.

Other accessibility services

Assistive listening devices (ear speaker, headset or neckloop), sensory kits and handheld radios are free at Guest Relations Booths with an ID or credit card deposit. Open-caption boards sit below Sections 233B and 206, and induction loops are at some stands, booths and ticket windows. A Sensory Room is at Section 320C. Service animals are permitted; to take one outside, go to the lobby at Gate 2.

Finding accessible seats on StubOrder

Open an event and its seat map. Sellers mark accessible listings in the listing notes (for example "ADA accessible; these tickets allow for wheelchair access"), and where the seat map shows an ADA Accessible filter, it lists only those. Yankee Stadium decides who sits in accessible seating, so check its policy before you buy. Accessible listings are few, and many events have none at a given moment.
