Soldier Field Accessible Seating

Where the accessible (ADA) and wheelchair seats are at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, how to get them, and getting in. From Soldier Field's official accessibility information, checked September 30, 2026: official accessibility page.

Where the accessible seats are

Soldier Field offers wheelchair-accessible and companion seating for every ticketed event, and the Bears offer it for each home game. The official stadium and team pages do not describe where the wheelchair spaces are, how many companion seats come with each space, or whether aisle-transfer seating is offered.

Getting accessible tickets

For Bears games, wheelchair-accessible seating is sold through the official ticket seller. If that allocation sells out, the Bears suggest buying conventional seats, if available, and then calling the team's ticket office to arrange an exchange. On game day, a guest exchanging a mobile ticket for a wheelchair-accessible seat must enter through Gate 8. For other events, accessible seating is sold first come, first served and is not guaranteed on the day of the event.

Bought a resale ticket that is not in an accessible location? The Justice Department's ADA rules require a venue to exchange it for a comparable accessible seat if one is free when you present the ticket, so contact guest services early. See how accessible seating works.

Arriving and getting in

The ADA drop-off and pick-up area is the Gate 14 turnaround off Museum Campus Drive (southeast side); an ADA placard or plate is required and its holder must be in the vehicle. For Bears games, lots by the stadium need prepaid parking; otherwise, accessible shuttles from the 31st Street McCormick Place Lot B and the Millennium Garages stop at Gate 14. Courtesy carts carry a guest and one companion from Museum Campus lots. All gates and elevators are accessible, and a limited number of wheelchairs take guests to their seats.

Parking passes for games here are sold separately: Soldier Field parking.

Other accessibility services

On Bears game days, assistive listening devices and sensory bags are at the Fan Services booth inside Gate 0. ASL interpreters are provided on request through the stadium. Service dogs (or in some cases miniature horses) are allowed; emotional support animals are not. Gate 8 is the entry and exit gate for service animals and the re-entry gate for relief breaks.

Finding accessible seats on StubOrder

Open an event and its seat map. Sellers mark accessible listings in the listing notes (for example "ADA accessible; these tickets allow for wheelchair access"), and where the seat map shows an ADA Accessible filter, it lists only those. Soldier Field decides who sits in accessible seating, so check its policy before you buy. Accessible listings are few, and many events have none at a given moment.
