Hollywood Bowl Accessible Seating
Where the accessible (ADA) and wheelchair seats are at Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California, how to get them, and getting in. From Hollywood Bowl's official accessibility information, checked September 30, 2026: official accessibility page.
Where the accessible seats are
At least 200 wheelchair, semi-ambulatory and companion tickets are spread through the Bowl, at most price levels. Locations include Garden Boxes 643 and 944, Ramps A and E, Side Boxes East (307 to 309, 407 to 409, 507 to 509), Side Boxes West (374 to 376, 475 to 477, 575 to 577), the last row of Super Seats, and the last row of Sections D, E, F1 to F3, G2/J2 and K1 to K3 (last two rows in F3 and K3). Wheelchair spaces have no fixed chair. Each accessible seat buyer may add up to three companion seats in the same row, next to it.
Getting accessible tickets
For LA Phil produced concerts, accessible seats are ordered through the Bowl's Accessibility Services with the ticket order form (by phone, email, mail or fax). For lease events (concerts not produced by the LA Phil), accessible tickets are sold online through the official ticket seller from the event's listing on the Bowl calendar. Single-event tickets are sold on a no refund, no exchange basis; subscribers may exchange wheelchair accessible tickets for more suitable locations, subject to availability.
Bought a resale ticket that is not in an accessible location? The Justice Department's ADA rules require a venue to exchange it for a comparable accessible seat if one is free when you present the ticket, so contact guest services early. See how accessible seating works.
Arriving and getting in
Accessible parking is in Lot A (Blue) and Lot B (Green); Bowl parking is very limited and often sells out in advance. Lot B has van spaces and accessible paths into the seating areas. Park & Ride and Bowl Shuttle buses are accessible and stop at the top of Lot B, with an accessible path and elevators to accessible seating. The PAAS team offers electric cart rides from near Lot B and wheelchair escorts, first come, first served. The Bowl does not lend wheelchairs.
Other accessibility services
Assistive listening headsets are free (ID deposit) at the House Manager's Office. Sign language interpreters (5 business days' notice), open captioning (10 business days) and audio description (2 weeks) can be requested through Accessibility Services. Service animals must be trained dogs; emotional support animals do not qualify. Wheelchairs and mobility devices can be stored at Promenade entrances for guests who transfer to a seat.
Finding accessible seats on StubOrder
Open an event and its seat map. Sellers mark accessible listings in the listing notes (for example "ADA accessible; these tickets allow for wheelchair access"), and where the seat map shows an ADA Accessible filter, it lists only those. Hollywood Bowl decides who sits in accessible seating, so check its policy before you buy. Accessible listings are few, and many events have none at a given moment.
